Soft Skills at Big Sister Africa
We teach young people the essential life skills that help them communicate clearly, work well with others, make thoughtful decisions, and navigate everyday challenges with confidence.
Our goal is to strengthen the foundations that support leadership, wellbeing, and opportunity for Francophone Africaβs youth, skills often overlooked in traditional school systems, yet critical for success in work, relationships, and community life.

HOW WE TEACH IT
Strong soft skills begin with guidance β and guidance feels different when it reflects your world.
Across Francophone Africa, young people step into adulthood facing complex social, economic, and emotional challenges. Yet many of the soft skills that help youth thrive, communication, teamwork, problem solving, confidence, are rarely taught in ways that connect with their experiences.
Without these tools, everyday situations can feel overwhelming: navigating group work, resolving conflict, expressing emotions, speaking up, or making decisions that shape their future.
