To make education that speaks your language. We create content that feels local, and made for real life.
Digital Literacy at Big Sister Africa
We help young people understand how to use technology confidently and safely, not as something distant or intimidating, but as a tool for opportunity and self-expression.
From navigating online spaces to creating meaningful content, we teach digital skills in ways that feel relatable, culturally relevant, and grounded in their reality.
Our goal is to empower Francophone Africa’s youth to participate fully in the digital world, as thinkers, creators, and leaders of their own stories.

HOW WE TEACH IT
Digital confidence begins with guidance – and that starts with content that reflects their world.
For many young people in Francophone Africa, the digital world offers opportunities that school alone can’t provide, work, learning, visibility, and community.
But without the right skills, navigating the internet can feel overwhelming or unsafe.
Our Digital Literacy programs break these barriers by teaching practical skills: how to communicate online, protect themselves, create content with intention, and use technology as a tool for growth.
Through local experts, peer interactions, and digital content designed for the Global South, we help youth step into online spaces with clarity, confidence, and purpose.
