We help youth build digital confidence with tools that fit their real lives.

Financial Literacy at Big Sister Africa
We teach young people how to understand, manage, and grow their money, in ways that feel practical, familiar, and connected to their daily lives.

Our goal is to help Francophone Africa’s youth build confidence around money decisions, overcome the taboos that often surround financial conversations, and develop habits that support independence and stability.
HOW WE TEACH IT

Financial confidence begins with understanding – and that starts with culturally relevant learning.

Money is part of everyday life, yet for many young people in Francophone Africa, financial education is either inaccessible or taught in ways that feel distant from their lived experience.

Our Financial Literacy programs break down these barriers by focusing on simple, relatable tools that help youth budget, save, plan, and make decisions they feel proud of.

Through peer conversations, expert-led sessions, and digital content designed for the Global South, we give young people the clarity to take charge of their financial future, one decision at a time.
